How long does the pain last, and when will it heal totally? its been 15 days, and I still have pain, mostly in the one socket, pain isnt too bad, but just annoying.
I noticed a white substance in the one socket that has the light pain, what is it? I would think if it were dry socket i would be in more pain.
Am I in the clear for dry socket? I have been eating solid foods for over a week, being careful to only chew in the front. Can I eat normally in the back just watching not to get food in the socket?

it takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks to heal. you should wash your mouth out with salt water after every meal to lessen the risk of infection. i would suggest going back to your dentist for a check up to make sure the healing is normal.
