Whats the best solution for stained teeth?!

Question: There are so many options you can choose from, but first you will have to be diagnosed by a dentist on what kind of stains you have.

You see, you might have stains that are only on the external surface of the tooth, those might be easily taken care of by a simple polishing procedure at the dental office

on the other hand if the stains are intrinsic which means they are saturated inside the tooth dentin itself then this will be another story, it can be solved by either deep polishing with more agressive polishing paste followed by bleaching (whitenning), or if it is a hereditary problem or a more difficult deeper stain you might need to go for partial teeth veneering by tooth colored filling material or porcelain veneers, or more radical full coverage Crown fitting.

Also your dentist might tell you that your teeth has no stains at all and that it's naturally dark, then if that is the case you can try bleaching and if you are not satisfied go for veneering.

Get a toothpaste whitener, drinking coffee and tea can stain teeth as well as foods with strong colourants so be advised not to have those things as much.

If that don't work see your dentist they should help.

stop smoking, drinking coffee or soda.

go to your dentist and get your teeth cleaned and polished

Brush them regularly before they become stained, and don`t smoke.

use whitening toothpaste and go to your denist and get your teeth clean

Teeth bleaching is effective but expensive... for a quick whitening I brush with a mixture of biCarb and lemon juice... tastes shocking but they come up pearly :)

Dentures. Lol

Cleaning your teeth regularly and not imbibing substances which stain such as coffee and red wine. Many stains can be got rid of by a dentist with a polisher or an upmarket electric toothbrush with a polishing attachment such as the Triumph by Oral-B. If that doesn't help or you want something cheaper, first try cleaning the stain for 3 or 4 minutes with your tooth brush. If you still have no luck you can buy Carbamide Peroxide Gel for whitening your teeth. Google for "Carbamide Peroxide". This will bleach the stain so it vanishes.

Don't drink any dark colored liquids, use a good toothbrush, visit your dentist often.

It depends on the source of the stain, if the stain is Extrinsic, meaning it's on the outer surface of the tooth, this can be treated with bleaching or teeth whitening, however if the stain is intrinsic (resulting from discoloration inside the tooth itself not on the surface) like antibiotics stain (Tetracycline as an example) or a root canaled tooth that's looks grey, a porcelain veneer is the treatment of choice in this case.
Hope that helped.

hi crest whitening strips are good, leave them on 30 mins twice a day and youll have a lovley set of pearly whites.

hi,
stains can b of 2 types: either extrinsic or intrinsic
extrinsic can b: like black-brown in color, due to food accumulation on the teeth. the best treament for them is: first of all-scaling. after that its best to maintain proper oral hygiene like proper tooth brushing twice daiy, using a good mouthwash like hexidine mw(1:1).
2nd type includes intrinsic like yellowish discoloration of all teeth/single tooth c/s Flourosis. treatment for this is Bleaching.
