Can someone help my teeth? (serious plea)?!

Question:

Can someone help my teeth? (serious plea)?

Bottom line, I have horrible teeth. I have numerous problems and hate to smile because of discoloration, periodontal disease problems, and I have no money due to a job layoff with no pay.
I am a single mom with two small kids and I want to be a better example for them but all the brushing and flossing I'm doing isn't cutting it. Does anyone out there in cyberland have any helpful advice for a woman going through a rough patch? I would be willing to email with a serious person about steps to take with this problem.
On a personal note, I am afraid that no one is hiring me because of my smile. I have all my own discolored teeth and a broken one and some old fillings as well as my wisdom teeth.I need a break. I can't go to my local dental school either because they charge fees that I cannot afford.
All I want is a nicer smile and healthier teeth so I can move on with my life and get a better job. Am I wasting my time? I don't want a free ride, just a boost to get me going.
Thank you.

Thanks for the help so far, I'm gonna try it all at this point. I DO have Medicaid by the way, and hopefully someone will help.

Answers:

If you believe your teeth are keeping you from getting a job, get in touch with your states employment /unemployment commission and ask them for the name of an agency that can help you. i know others who had gotten help.
