MY braces are due to come off, but my teeth are moving back! help!!?!

Question: My braces are coming off on the 30th of april, at my last app. my ortho had a peak and left everythingn the way it was, i guess just to steady them in their new positions. My treatment was mainly to push my front teeth up a bit because i have quite big teeth, and to close gaps. I only have top braces.
But I noticed today that one of my front teeth has started dropping back again. I could feel it was lower so I looked in the mirror and you ca see its lower too. I told my mum and she said she'd noticed and was going to ring the ortho but didnt tell me because she thought it might upset me. She's going to ring and try and get me an appointment.
But how would they move just one tooth up?
Has any one had to move one tooth up before? How did they do it?
Can it be fixed by April 30th

I had braces too and I did kinda feel them move a little when they came off but they didn't drop as you've described.

I'd be getting your Mum to ring the ortho ASAP so that he can get onto it straight away.

In saying that, if the braces have to stay on a wee bit longer (I know, I know, it sucks) wouldn't you rather that then it being all for nothing? You know I'm right even though you hate me for saying it!

Good Luck matey.

ask you mouth dude

dont worry after you get them taken off you get a retainer to make sure your teeth stay in place until they are not vunerable any more

by that time theyy wil get fixed. becasue dentist know wat deir doin to juh dont worry.

Your braces are probably going to be on a little longer. I had mine on a month because my midline wasn't straight

I've had braces and recently had mine off too. I wouldn't worry about it, if you have fixed braces on right now then one tooth slightly realigning is ok. My top teeth were pushed too far back but the orthodontist used wire to push them back. After you're fixed braces they will give you a retainer which will push it back and realign it anyways. If you have anymore questions, you can e-mail me.

the best thing is to visit our doctor he will advice you what to do better than any body else.

thel prob use elastic bands

Well, I have braces too, and when you get there for your app. ask them to keep them on. If you want them off, just think: Your teeth will look all crooked if you take them off if your teeth are not ready to take them. Or, ask whoever is paying for them to call the office and ask them if you can keep them on. Good Luck!
