Why do people get chains on their braces?
i have a chain on my braces and i want to know why i have that on my braces.
Answers:
if by chains you are talking about the rubber bands that are linked together in a row and go across your entire row of teeth, then i can help you out. the chain pulls your teeth together, and brings them closer inside your mouth (such as if a tooth was sticking out abnormally). they can snap if put on too tight, so if this happens, go back to your orthodontist and ask him (or her) to replace it, becasue you can get nasty mouth sores if you're not careful. hope this helps a bit!
