I brush my teeth twice a day with whitening toothpaste but they are still yellow!
Question: i have never smoked and dont eat lots of curry ( have heard these things give you yellow teeth) and i am 15 but my teeth are yellow.
i have tried all the whitening toothpastes but it still doesnt seem to work. how can i get them whiter with out professional whitening (obviously im not old enough).
i used to have braces for a year and they started turning yellow then.
any help?

Tooth color actually comes from within the tooth, not the surface. Many things affect tooth colour, including food, beverages, which stain, and certain medicines that discolor the tooth from inside.
Most whitening toothpastes that you get at, say, Walgreens, have extremely mild bleaches or scrubbing agents that remove surface staining only.
Chances are your teeth are yellow from the inside and the only person who can whiten them are your dentist.
Wait until you're older, save up, and have them properly whitened. Too much whitening toothpaste can actually be bad for your teeth.

give it more time, i use "Aquafresh" whitening toothpaste. it works.. and also don't drink coffee or tea.
i know this sounds a bit crazy but trust me try come coal powder.. and after that use any toothpaste whose flavor you like.

brush ur teeth properly.u must take atleast 5min. for brushing ur teeth.
