I got brraces 6 weeks ago and am having problems. I have a check up with my orthodontist in a week.?

But I thought someone out there might have the same prob as me!

For the past 2 weeks I have been getting headaches throught most of the day, they are not crippling headaches but are still pretty uncomfortable. I chalked the headaches up to my teeth moving. The kicker is for the past week my vision is really blurry.

I wear glasses and have a lazy right eye (almost blind in), my left eye is almost perfect vision. My perscription has not changed since I was in high school 9 years ago. Plus I don't know why it would change so dramatically in a few days.

I am worried that there might be something else going on. I am going to talk to my dentist then make an eye appt. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of braces altering your vision?

your braces may be too tight. when i first got mine, the back was too tight. i experienced many painful headaches. i went to the orthodontist and he loosened my braces. as for the vision well... i dont know what to tell you. they may be a result of the headaches. is your vision worse when you have headaches? good luck on that.
