If doctors and dentists really were honorable and abided by professional ethics, their first statement would be to you:
"LET'S GET YOU IN HERE!" Not a thought in the world about money before treating you. Instead, they usually demand payment before you walk in.
My friend once said it well, "Most of them are brutal, they're in it for the money and they'll recommend all sorts of work that doesn't need to be done."
Call your county department of public health. They should have a 'low income' dentist you can use ... if necessary, get a 'referral' from a social worker so you can get in sooner, but some will see 'emergency patients' if they get there when they first open in the morning.

See if they will give you a payment plan.....then you can pay it off in small amounts..Also tell them you have no insurance...some will give you a discount..
