I need braces for 3 years, which would be into college. Worth it?
I have a bad overbite and crowded bottom teeth, which makes my chin appear small. After the overbite is corrected, my jaw will have moved forward and a moreprominent chin will result.
These are the good results I am looking for , however the orthodontist said will need them for three years. I'm 15 and a sophomore, which means I will get them off at the end of my freshman year in college!
It sucks to be getting braces when everyone else is getting them off and not only that, I will have them during the major high school events, like prom and graduation.
So is it truly worth it to get them? I want the positive results but the 3 years I'm not ok with.

Do it, it's worth it. There are more people than you would expect in college with braces and when you get there, no body cares what's on your teeth. They are a pain, but it's really no big deal, they normally don't show up much in pictures and you'll be use to them by your big events. Good luck!
