How long ago did you get your braces off? Mine do that too sometimes! I'd wear your retainer every night and then randomly not one night and wait until that problem starts to lessen.

I remember when I had my retainer. The same thing would happen to me, only perhaps not that tight.
I don't believe your teeth should be moving that drastically.
It is normal for your retainer to be a little tight the next day, though.

I think you should tell your orthodontist about the tightness of your retainer.
