How big will my filling be?!
Question: I need a silver filling in one of my molars on the bottom. My dentist said it's the chewing surface of my molar. How big will the silver filling be? How much of my white molar will be covored by the dark shiny silver filling?

It will be as big as it needs to be to cover the cavity. A white filling might be used unless he said silver. It probably won't show anyway being a molar. Mine don't.
That is impossible to say without seeing the X-ray and the tooth.
As much as required of course .....duh
it depends on the size of the cavity.
