Is it unusual to get a headache after you take out a good tooth?!

it's okay to have a headache when you take out a tooth because it usually hurts like a b*tch..if you know what i mean..
I had to take out two teeth for my braces, and after that, i had to eat a lot of ice cream to numb my gums. lols. it's okay, just lie down if you want to.. :]
