I'm getting a root canal..what will they give me of the pain?!

I'm getting a root canal..what will they give me of the pain?

I know there is a lot of stuf out there but I just wanna know what other people have experianced.

I have had severa and i just had my 4th one done a couple of weeks ago -well he numbed me of course while i was getting worked on and after wards he gave me 10mg lorcet - usually they dont give meds afterwards but i dont handle pain well - and this time i had an absecss so i was in a lot of pain - and youll be sore for being worked on for so many hours (they take at lest 2 hours to do) most of the time docs give vicroprofen which is hydrocodone with ibuprofen (and helps on the swelling) but i cant take that it makes me sick so i got the one with Tylenol instead - he also put me on antibiotics too - good luck with your root canal they are not fun at all
