What kind of pain meds do they give you after a root canal?

I'm getting one on the 22nd

Answers:

They gave me hydrocodone,and it puts you to sleep like crazy. You take it and if you last 50 minutes after that your superman.

EDIT:They also gave me amoxiclin,an antibiotic.
