Does laughing gas work??!
Question: nitrous oxide to be exact. anyway, i'm going to the
dentist tomorrow and my tooth (in my gum) is going
to be pulled down. That means my gum will be cut a
little. yikes!!! i'm a little nervous!
so has laughing gas numbed the pain for you?
and tell me how you felt while on it.

Yes it works a lot! I got 4 teeth pulled when I was like 11 and it killed, but it wasnt with laughing gas... Last week I got one more pulled, with laughing gas, and it was wonderful, it didnt hurt at all... It felt so good!
It worked extremely well for our son when he got a tooth extracted. He said it was kind of fun, then he remembers nothing.
I've never had it for my own dental work.
You are lucky your dentist has it and will use, mine took out of office. it is great, eases nerves, feel like in another world, can hear what going on, but with novacaine wont feel any pain, and after over, will get oxygen to bring you back to reality. go for it and be glad he uses it. other dentist went to, died, had it, i have panic attacks, needed it even for cleanings, best thing there is
Yes i had to get my toothpulled i thought it wouldnt do anything but it helped tons anyways goodluck!!

personally for me it makes me very emotional and no absolutely no reason i start to cry and when i close my eyes i feel like i'm being lifted up, still flat, and start to spin but yea it makes me teary and i guess it works but i always tell them i don't want it
