Sore tongue..?!

Sore tongue..?

I've got a very sore tongue.. the back of upper mouth is sore too.. my tongue burns even if i drink water. Cant taste food either because it burns. What do i do to cure this or atleast reduce it..

is it normal to lose a bit of sense of taste.. i'm not able to taste sugars that well...

Have you had anything extremely hot to eat or drink? The scalding in your mouth could cause those symptoms.
If not, you may have a vitamin B12 deficiency. Pernicious anemia is a condition with a lack of B12. Call your physician after ruling out a dental cause.
