Can anyone tell me what to expect at the dentist please?
I am very worried about the injection. Can anyone tell me if i have anything to worry about. I don't mind if there is pain, but if its extremely painful!!? How bad is the pain ? thank you all
Answers:
First I'd like to reassure you - whilst the injection might be uncomfortable at first, it will make me you go numb thus excluding any pain. I have sometimes experienced that the needle going into the gum can be a little bit painful but it is over very quickly and as long as you stay calm and breathe deeply thinking about nicer things you will be fine.
Also, remember that the dentist is there to help you, not to cause you harm. Whatever slight pain/discomfort you might experience during your visit is most likely nothing compared to the future pains and troubles you would have to go through if you did not get treated as soon as possible.
