Question: ok umm i dont know anything about teeth what so ever.. but one of my back teeth is very tender when im drinking a semi cold beverage and its just that 1 tooth and it almost hurts.. i think it has been filled in cuz i got a cavity awhile back. and it just started hurting recently. whats goin on?

Well no answer will prevent you from going to the dentist. Sounds like you could have a crack in the filling exposing the nerve perhaps, causing the great sensitivity. Or, you could need a root canal. Make an appointment before the pain is unbearable. Better to be proactive than reactive. Hope all goes well for you.
I agree with the other answer you must have a crack in that filling. You can get a cavity in the same tooth that was filled. The cavity might be on a different side then last time. I would go get it checked just to be on the safe side.
DEFINITELY GO TO THE DENTIST. I am telling you this as a person who was in the EXACT same situation. I had gotten a filling, and then a few months or so later it started to hurt again. First with cold things, then hot things, then just 24/7. I was miserable and up all night. My parents didn't really care, and it took them weeks to get me to the dentist, and it was the worst time of my life. Please, go to your dentist and get a root canal like I did before it gets worse.
