I had a badly chipped tooth? (details inside)?!
Question: I chipped my tooth about 2-3 months ago and made a dentist appointment. The appointment is this Friday and im nervous. The tooth was chipped quite much until I broke alot of it off while chewing something and thats why I made this appointment. I never took care of it. Now Im scared, I hope I dont have to have a root canal! My first experience with a root canal totally sucked and the dentist was mean!
But im going to my family dentist for this. I already had a tooth pulled before and he put like 4 needles in my gums and I almost passed out. My heart was beating so fast! He put that many needles because it was a chipped tooth and it was abcessed. I HATE DENTISTS BECAUSE OF THEIR NEEDLES! Im 16 years old.

Call and tell the dentist how you feel so he can give you a sedative to relax you so you don't have to experience anxiety but don't put it off cause your tooth will only get worst.
