Dentists can you answer this please?!

Question: Ok so I had a cavity on a tooth and I ignored it and then today while I was eating a part of that tooth broke off and nothing hurts or anything but i called the dentist to make an appointment but they can't see me until Saturday. Thats like 4 days away.... Is that dangerous???? and also, what can I expect to happen at this appointment?

Nothing hurts. You are able to Yahoo. You even managed to call the dentist for an appointment.

Sit still, and wait for Saturday. Nothing bad could happen between now and your appointment.

nothing u can do, make sure that parts of the food dont get stuck in there, brush after every meal, rinse with lysterine, careful with flossing around that tooth, try not to dig with toothpicks if food gets stuck in there, brush rinse, brush rinse

It is fine for now. It would probably be a long time before it gets to the nerve, I Have had mine break off. They fill it or pull it if that is what you want. Not a big deal at all.

Just wait til Saturday if its not bothering no big deal. If it was then you would have a problem. The only problem you will have is food getting stuck in there. So just keep it clean and if you need to clean it with a toothpick to get the stuff out. If the cavity doesn't go into the nerve it will just be a filling. But if it does it will need a rootcanal or extract the tooth. Good luck
