Does This Mean Another Root Canal?

Curious if just because your tooth is a lil tap sensitive does that indicate you most likely will need a root canal? I've had 2 others. This is a tooth that shows a little decay but it was a lil tap sensitive lately. Any RDA's, Endodontists or Dentists out there?

even if the filling looks small from the out side doesn't mean it's small on the inside. You said it had a brown little around it. That means it old and is maybe leaking or has a small stain. The first thing I ask a person when they come in is it sens. to tap or touch and is it temp sens. If hot I think root canel if cold I think crown. If you drink something warm and it hurts that's not good, or tap. If you drink something cold and goes away right away that is good but could mean a crown. If you bite on something like a hard pen and it hurt when you bite a goes away RIGHT away it means a Crown BUT if it hurts after you let go and still hurts that may need a root canel. But you should see your dds asap and have an x-ray taken because it very hard to say by not seeing you. Take some advil and call them in the morning
