What are the consequences of smoking while taking penicillin, nexium, and acetam!

Question:

What are the consequences of smoking while taking penicillin, nexium, and acetaminophen/codeine?

i want to smoke and im taking a variety of medications because i just recently had my wisdom teeth removed. the medications im on are penicillin, nexium, and acetaminophen/codeine, is it bad to smoke while taking these and what are the risks i'd be taking if i smoked?

Answers:

smoking does not have a drug interaction. the reason you should'nt smoke is because nicotine thins the blood and could cause excessive bleeding- also the inhaling/exhaling motion can cause a dry-socket.which is VERY PAINFUL. if you absolutely cannot abstain- try packing several pieces of gauze over the extraction sites and smoke only enough to satisfy your craving.
