Hole in gum right next to tooth at the side/back of my mouth!!?!
Question: I went to the dentist ages (years ) ago and they clean jsut under the skin of my hole and said it would go away. Well that was when i was 15. Im nearly 18 now... The hole is on my left upper side and is in the gum NOT the toothe although it is right next to the tooth. Food gets stuck in there somtimes. I only noticed it the other day as i was eating somthing hard and made it sore. Its not sore now and never really has been. It hasnt got deeper or wider and the dentist did a x ray way back so theres no spare teeth. Should i be worried? If you need more info just ask ill be online for a few hours. Thanks all Angel

you probably need a root canal. Go in for a checkup and point out the issue to your dentist.
