What's some effective ways to whiten teeth?!
Question: Ok, so my teeth are a little yellow from chainsmoking Kools, how do I get them white again? I've tried hydrogen peroxide but that didn't work. Anything else? Discuss.

I kind of think that those whitening procedures with the light and the ones where you fill a tray with chemicals - can be bad for the gums and teeth.
I use Rembrandt toothpaste. After using it for several weeks, a friend of mine commented on my teeth looking whiter. She didn't know I'd been using it.
It's on the expensive side, but I think it's safer than some of the other methods.
Chew whitening gum a lot. It really helps me. I used to drink coffee and smoke and I don't have stains because I chew Orbit and Trident whitening gums. Also get a good whitening toothpaste. You could also try white strips or something like that.

baking soda mixed with crest toothpaste and whitening gel it works really good but the baking soda makes it taste a lil salty
You may want to ask your dentist about professional whitening with custom made trays and bleaching products available. If you continue to smoke, drink tea or coffee, or do other things that may stain your teeth then it may be a waste to whiten them, as you will only be staining them again, unless you have stopped smoking/drinking tea/coffee.
