A perio aid is a small plastic tool that holds the pointed end of a toothpick in either one or two ends. It is provided by some periodentists to their patients for use in removing plaque between the teeth. It is manufactured by Marquis Manufacturing Company & cannot be found in drug stores.

I don't know if the Perio Aid in on the open market. I think you can only get it from your dentist.
You CAN find the Oral-B toothpick holder in drug stores, though, right near the toothbrushes. It is very similar in use, but I like the thicker handle on the Perio-Aid better.
