ok i'm gonna get braces and i have to go to my first appointment today what is gonna happen? what's gonna happen on my second?

i had my first oppointment yesterday.
the doctor examines your teeth and sees what he needs to do example if you have an overbite he'll note that so you can fix it. i was shown how my teeth will change on the computer. my dad worked out the prices and i was taken to xray my teeth and get an impression where they put flavored stuff on your teeth to get the outline of what it looks like when it hardens after a couple minutes.
after, i went home and brushed my teeth REALLY well. the brackets are going to be on your teeth for a VERY long time. they used glue or whatever to stick the brackets on and used this heat thing to help it stick. they sprayed water on sour stuff in my mouth a couple times and they use this thing to keep your mouth open wide.
