Braces poking me 3 weeks in?!

Braces poking me 3 weeks in?

Had braces for 3 weeks, and today they've started to poke me, right out of the blue. I thought that should only happen for the first few days as your mouth gets used to it?

Yes, I know about the wax, but just would love to know if this is normal or not.

It is most definietly normal!! I had that too.What I did, was just told my orthodontist, and he put this thing on the poking part, it was sorta like wax, but it hardened, and it stuck to the place that was poking me, and he smoothed it out, so it was a round edge against my mouth, after that, I had no more problems, and that doesn't hurt, it's not even touching your mouth when they do it.
