Cold water feels better, but physically it doesn't matter.
From a health standpoint, it doesn't matter. If you think your killing bacteria with hotter water, you aren't unless you are also scalding the inside of your mouth. That's how hot water has to be to kill bacteria. The cold rinse is, as said earlier, more refreshing.
Very good question. Cold water is better because it is more refreshing and the germs are easily removed by cold water.
It's better for ME to rinse with warm water because I have sensitive teeth.
