i heard you have to wear them all the time for 6-8 months before you only can wear them at night? and how long will it take for your teeth to shift when your not wearing your retainers?
Answers:
all the time- one year on average, depending on how well your teeth got corrected.
If you don't wear your retainers for one day, your teeth shift, but if you use them the next week, they will go back to normal; just don't go for a month with out them, because the shift might become permanent enough that you will need braces again!
