Extreme high dental bill please help me figure this out!!!!!!!!?!


Question: i recently visited the dentist on april fools day..... and my dentist was not pulling my leg........... its been since 2000 since i have gone. i have to have 2 crowns and a lot of fillings, mind you i have great looking teeth no creepy meth mouth or anything like that...to make a long story short i have a estimated bill of $4,3336.00. ya................ i do have insurance and im waiting for the quote to come back to see what is covered but my annual coverage dollar amount is $2000.00 annual. so my question is...would there be any kind of supplemental insurance or any kind of help i can get to get this work done and not have to sell my POS car lol...thanks if you can help and remember to brush you teeth 3 times a day or the dentist will ruin your life

$43K for 2 crowns and fillings? If that number's right, I'd get a second opinion and a new dentist.

If it's supposed to be $4K then that sounds about right depending on the actual number of fillings, though still a little too excessive in my opinion.

Maybe you could get the fillings done at a dental school and just have the dentist to the crowns? This might cut the cost a lot.

Nice rip off. If your insurance wont pay, the creep will sue. It drives dentists literally out of their mind to think that you andother patients are walking around with their work in your mouth and they not being paid.
