If I need a tooth pulled...what is it replaced with?

I'm sure it's expensive...


Answers:

If you have a tooth extracted (pulled) you might have a few options. First would be a bridge which would connect to the remaining teeth on each side with a false tooth filling the space. The second option might be a dental implant in which a screw made out of titanium is put in the jaw bone and a false tooth (crown) is put on top to fill the space. Either way it is expensive and I would guess $2400.00 minimum for the bridge and more for the implant. Sorry to drop the bad news on you!
