Question for people who have had invisalign or dentists who provide it?!

Question: I need only the express invisalign...and I have a wedding coming up
Does most of the movement/change occur in the beginning part of the treatment?

I'm doing Invisalign treatment right now. Mine will take 7 months. I'm not sure if that's considered express. They show you on the computer how your teeth change from each aligner. I'm on the 4th aligner now of 15 aligners. There's been a few minor changes. Not very much though. You really see the changes about halfway through until the end. So, for me, that's about 8-15.

From what I've read, I think Invisalign works on those back teeth first so you'll see very little improvement on the front teeth(which are the ones I want straightened). Once those are in the right spot, then you'll see changes in the front ones. And that'll be middle to end of treatment.

Also be aware, that those aligners don't always fit great. My first lower aligners, I had to have sent back because they didn't fit. The molds were no good. And this 4th upper aligner, it's not fitting really good on this one tooth(one which needs to move quite a bit), they're going to need to put an attatchment on that tooth to help it move. If you've seen Invisalign, it's the little bubble on the aligner. So, just so you know, things can come up and go wrong and the total time may be longer than they tell you.

I'm getting them soon - but my friend has just reached the end of her express treatment (a month to go I think...). In her case most of the movement occured at the end of the treatment. The ortho also advised this would happen in my case.

I am on my last invisaline set. The total treatment has lasted about 10-11 months. However, the treatment for the bottom teeth finished 5 months ago and I have just been wearing them as a retainer until I get done with everything and get real retainer for both top and bottom. So all of the move ment for the bottom was at the beginning and the top was spaced out pretty evenly over the 10 months.

Hope this helps.
