Question: Im 22,and now finnally saved 2k for my braces and ofcourse I will need to pay the rest on monthly basis, I heard temple are the cheapest one, but they are students under doc supervision , if anybody know prices please let me know and any good ortho thanks in philadelphia

Don't be afraid of going to Temple for your braces. All of the "students" are trained dentists who are specializing in orthodontics. Usually the reason dental programs are less expensive than private practices is because appointments take longer (because of the learning) NOT the quality of care. Some people believe you get even better quality by going to a school for several reasons: the doctors are more interested in doing things right because they aren't worried about making money (students pay tuition, they don't make any money doing your braces), there are lots of people looking at the work being done by the students and mistakes have a better chance of being caught and corrected, and finally, students often have to display their work for others to see the results and no one wants to have shoddy work on display for other professionals to critique.
I got my braces 3 years ago in hawaii and I paid $800 down and $120 a month and I paid the monthly pymt for 30 months.
Depending upon how long/extensive your treatment will be it can be anywhere from 2000-5000. Everyone is different. Go somewhere where they give free consultations.
