Okay I have braces and...?!
Question: I'm afraid that when I get them taken off I'm going to have stains and buildup. I'm not a very good brusher because I tend to forget a lot, but I'm wondering if and how I can get rid of the buildup right now or possibly after I get my braces off? I have about a month after I get my braces off before school starts and I want my teeth to look nice =]

i think you should remember to brush your teeth. set an alarm or something that'll remind you to.
floss your teeth, even though it takes a long time..it gets really annoying, cause it takes a long time to get the floss/string between your braces and teeth.
use mouthwash incase you miss a few spots in your mouth/teeth.
when you get your braces off, ask your dentist to give you a cleaning. if you're still not satisfied, you should get some crest white strips or some other teeth-whitening strip brand. my cousin used those and they really worked for her, even after 2 years after removing her braces.
Have a cleaning done at the dentist. They can pumice your teeth and get all the extra yuckies off!
Okay first off, brushing is not the only thing you should do to keep nice strong white teeth. You should buy some listerine mouthwash and swish it twice a day. This will DRASTICALLY whiten and keep your teeth nice and bright. Also, when you get your braces off the orthdontist will buff your teeth with a little machine that evens out the color of your teeth and removes plaque buildup. Lastly if you still arnt happy with the whiteness of your teeth, you could buy the thirty day crest whitening kit. It is about twenty dollars and you put a little piece of sticky plastic on your teeth before bed and as you sleep it whitens your teeth easy with no pain! Good luck!
i heard that the ortho. cleans them for u but i wouldnt know because my DAD won't call to get my braces on!!
Well everyone looks weird when they first get there braces off. Try brushing your teeth from now on and when you get your braces off, start whitening them. Your teeth will look amazing...thank goodness for braces right?
get a cleaning from the dentist. and after that, u should start brushing ur teeth rele good. by the time u get ur braces off, there shouldnt be ne build up. im wierd because i cant go to sleep with out brushing my teeth and i cant start off my day without brushing my teeth.. i guess thats a good thing though
