Okay, I had a really bad tooth { molar } i went and got it removed after 2 maybe 3 years FINALLY. Im really scared of the dentist and the reason i got it fixed was because of my jaw. i got really scared. if you feel that area that curves for your jaw, mine goes up more and is getting thinner then my other jaw . DOES NOT HURT. and lately, its been getting thinner. I asked my doctor this when he pulled my tooth the other day and he said it could possible be my wisdom teeth and he didnt even seem that he was worried at all. he even took a full xray of my jaw line even with my teeth. so what do i do.? i know this is not normal. please someone help me. if you have any questions please go to my profile page and click on email me. please i need to know. thank you

i'm under the impression u have had the tooth taken out. it probably feels worse than it is. if the doctor took an x-ray and didn't show concern, the bone density is probably fine. i don't know how long it has been since you had the molar taken out. it takes about 6 months to fully heal and the bone to fill in. if you're that scared, go back to the oral surgeon. remember u r in full control at the office. they will not do anything unless u consent. let them know how petrified u r. believe me, it's not uncommon.
