My 6 year old daughter's new molars are coming through with white specks on them!

Question:

My 6 year old daughter's new molars are coming through with white specks on them... does anyone know why?

All four molars are coming through the gums now but they are white with whiter specks on them. Could it be a deficiency? I want to get to the bottom of it before all her adult teeth come through like this!

Many thanks!

She does have a lot of milk. Perhaps a pint in the morning and pint in the evening. I think that is probably a lot for her age. Thank you.

Answers:

May be too much calcium. If the tooth appears to be transparent, however, it may be a calcium deficiency. Add a little more info. does your child drink a lot of milk or take in a lot of dairy products?

i am here to help.
