Can you have your wisdom teeth removed when you have a canker sore?!


Question: I keep having reactions to my toothpaste, I think I finally found one that doesn't irritate my mouth. I still have a canker sore from the last toothpaste I used on the far back roof of my mouth. I have an appointment in 1 week to have my wisdom teeth removed but now I'm wondering if it is okay to have the removal while I have a canker sore? The dentist office closed already so I'm asking anyone on here. Thanks.

Yes, it is fine. Just tell your Oral Surgeon when you go to have your wisdom teeth removed. But it's not an issue that should stop you from getting them removed.
