Do all carbonated drinks cause damage to your teeth?!

Question: Does carbonated mineral water rot your teeth like soda pop will?
Is it the sugar that rots your teeth, or the carbonation itself?

Is the culprit just soda, or is it all fizzy delicious drinks?

Years ago I heard that the carbonation weakened the enamel, but nothing I've found since confirmed that. I really think it's the sugar. We all know water is best, but you're probably like me and have a hard time with plain water. Some great options are soda water and natural sodas which are flavored with real fruit juice. My fave is mixing soda water with orange pineapple banana juice (about half & half). So yummy!

YES

A basic way of putting it, the bacteria in your mouth (and yes, you have bacteria in your mouth, good and bad; everyone does) it needs sugar, that's what it eats. And the waste product bacteria produces is acid which can cause your teeth to get cavities. Drinking soda isn't a bad thing, just make sure your not drinking/sipping on it all day long. :)

The most recent dentist I went to told me its not just the sugar in pop its also the Phosphoric Acid in pop that eats away at your teeth. I am not sure if that is in other carbonated drinks or not but I do know it is in regular and diet pop.

carbonated beverage sap the calcium out of bones and therefore over a long period of time, will help lead to osteoporosis. Since our teeth have calcium, the answer is yes, eventually. Just make sure you don't drink that much, like maybe one can a day and be sure to eat food and drink drinks with calcium. Don't forget that you must have Vit D to absorb the calcium. Just sitting in the sun for 10 minutes is a complete days worth. Sugar doesn't help the situation either. Limit your sugar intake and brush your teeth often.
