I went to the dentist yesterday and now my lip wont move?

I went to the dentist yesterday and got a filling in a tooth on top, on the right side. It only took 2-3 hours for the numbness to wear off but now it is over 24 hours later and the right side of my top lip wont move. When I smile, the right side of my lip droops down. I can't control it. When I try to lift the right side of my lip, it just wont. What is wrong with my lip? Is it possible that my dentist could have killed a nerve or something?

I am only 18. Prom is coming up. Is my smile ruined forever?

You have something called parathesia, it's a prolonged reaction to the anesthetic, this means that the dentist might have caused trauma to the nerve that he was injecting, I would call him, tell him the issue and see what he says, but I'll tell you what he'll most likely say.. wait. there's no recourse for this injury that I know of.
