My sons' canine teeth ??!


Question: My son is fourteen years old and his canine teeth are only halfway pushed out through his gums...meaning they haven't come all the way down yet.....the pointy tips are visible i want to know is it due to his age?...will this change, shouldn't they have pushed through fully by now?

They be reabsorbing into the gum, they may be anklosed, or ectopic, or something else. It's best for you to take him to a dentist for an evaluation, he made need orthdontics to correct this problem. By the age of 14, most everyone should have lost all their baby teeth, and all of their permanent teeth should be in place. Everyone is different, that's why we need doctors!
