Stay away from tea , coffee , and wine . May be one cup a day as well brush your teeth with a Braun electric tooth brush and it will massages your gums as well . Use a high power tooth paste like Pearl toothpaste . But it can't used for a long time and get your teeth polished may be 3 times a year .And use mouthwash that contains a stain remover like Listerine teeth whitener .Good luck at the orthodontist and have a great day .

Try Baking soda and Peroxide 1 time a day

try crest white strips. i haven't used them personally but i've looked up info on them once and people said they worked pretty good.

this site has lots of homemade remedies to whiten your teeth! it's kool but i've never tried them because i have braces...grrr..lol, but ya i'd give em' a try!! : )

I recommend crest white strips. and even after that to keep your pearly whites, when drinking things that can stain your teeth (cranberry juice, coffee) drink from a straw.

also drink plenty of water and brush your teeth in warm water.

It sounds crazy, but the peroxide is true.... It'll taste awfull so have a glass of water at hand.... swish 50/50 peroxide n water around your mouth evry morning... and after meals and night if wished.. I havent personally tried the baking soda yet..

Also yesterday I used peroxide in the morning,, had coffee,,sucked on mints at work, came home and ate, had soda, more coffee,,,, and my teeth still felt fresh...
So it'll also be a good addition to daily tooth care..
