Crying after dental work, ever get emotional at the dentist?!

Question: Im not talking about being afraid of going to the dentist...

I had molar extracted and I was crying afterwards, the tears kept streaming down my face, I was wondering if this was a reaction to the anesthesia?

Prolly a combo of anaethetic and the emotional experience fo the picks, drills, laying upside down, lights in your eyes, the bastard telling you to open, open and that sucking tube draining the blood, plaque and bits of rotten tooth.

Valium and Vicodin about an hour before keeps me a happy patient.

I cry, faint , panic attacks you name it. My dentist hates me : )

yup this could be an additional reaction to the medicine

it must of been the anesthesia coz itz kinda dumb if you start cryin afta dey fixed ur teeth. but i dnt cry ma teeth r perfect thanks to my braces.

AHHHH dont scare me pleasee!! I need 4 extraction as soon as possible and i have not gone yet because of my fear.....I'm having jaw's problems thanks to these molars..

I think is normal your reaction. The anesthesia causes different reactions between people.

Take it easy and everything will be fine

when i had braces i had to have 2 teeth extracted, and i cried. it didnt hurt but i think i just felt sorry for myself. i dont think it has anything to do with the anaesthetic.
