My 15th month old child is missing 6 teeth in his gums.....?!

My 15th month old child is missing 6 teeth in his gums.....?
He had an x-ray done and it's 2 at the top(not the front two) and 4 at the bottom. He only has his back teeth (4 in all) The dentist did not have any answers b/c he said that he never saw such thing. I am worried that he will not develop those 6. Do any one know anything about this. I have recently found out some one on my husband side did not develop 2 at the bottom. Please help!!

the first thing I would do is get your child to a dentist specialising in peds, or get a second opinion. Someone must have seen or heard about something like this. Secondly, ask the dentist if you should or should not be worried. all the best
