Just some stuff i would like answers for........?!
Question: im getting braces that are going to be all pink.......sooooooo
im kinda excited and kinda scared so would any of u mind answering these questions so ill be prepared..........
1.-how long do they hert when you get them on?
2.-how long does it take for the top braces cuz im only getting the top...???
3.-what is better to take for the pain tylenol or advil...???
4.-what sodas are bad to drink and what sodas are good to drink
4.-what are some bad foods you should avoid while wearing braces
5.do u know any websites that show a virtual show that shows how dentist put braces on???
6.-any websites that give you a list of foods u shouldnt eat thats printable...????
please answer and no idiotic answers like this is a dumb question or i dont know plz strait posotive answers.......

1)They can hurt from day you put them on to may be a week and a half or so.
2)Depending upon the your teeths conditions and its malocclusion severity it can range anything fron 1 to 2 yrs for the braces to some off and it will take an hour for your dentist to put the braces on.
3)Take advil.. It outdates Tylenol
Advil PM is a combination of 200 mg of ibuprofen and a gentle sleep aid diphenhydramine, the same ingredient in Tylenol PM and Benadryl.
4)No sodas are good for teeth or heath. avoid them as much as possible specially after braces,, they can cause abrasion of tooth surfaces.
5)Avoid hard /solid foods initially and stick to semi-solid/liquid diet.

they hurt for about a week then u don't notice them much, same only 1 week becuz i only got top then after a month i got botom, tylenol, sodas don't hurt ur braces, at least tht's wut i thought, they give u a list of bad foods, mostly sticky stuff, gum, hard stuff like hard candy, caramel, jellybeans, etc., i don't no any virtual stuff but, they put this sorta like a funnel ish thing on ur mouth, it feels a bit weird, then they put glue(not glue u use) on one of the brackets and stick it on ur tooth, use this orange thing to heat it, doesn't feel a thing to dry it, then they do the rest and later put a wire through it, it doesn't hurt when they put it on, it starts after a couple hours. hi i got braces two weeks ago :(
1.For about 2 days ift hey are still causing you pain go back to see your orrthadoniast.
2.it takes about 30 minutes to apply the brace
3. tylenol i would say
4.no sodas are good to drink im afraid :(

- The first 2-3 days my teeth were sore, but it's nothing really painful.

- For them to put them on, depends really. I think when I got both my tops and bottoms it took an hour and a half.

- Advil or Motrin, your ortho should give you instructions afterward.
4.-what sodas are bad to drink and what sodas are good to drink
- There is no such thing as a "good soda".
4.-what are some bad foods you should avoid while wearing braces
- Your ortho will give you papers with all that information. They say sticky things like taffy, gum, ice cubes, cut your apples and other hard fruits.
