What does it feel like to have receding gums?!

Question: I think my gums are receding. I'm not bleeding, but 2 of my back teeth in the area by my gums have become very sensitive to brushing and even when I touch it with my fingernail.
-I am 7.5 months pregnant.
-The reason I think they are receding is because I can see on one of the teeth that there is an indentation close to where the gums are (on the bottom of the tooth) and this indentation is what hurts when I touch it. Its not small like a cavity, its as if the entire bottom of my tooth gets smaller after the indentation.

Heres some info, but the best thing to do is see the dentist, to determine if thats what you do have.
There is also some homeopathic treatments but have them approved by your Dr , since your pregnant.

Dictionary
Receding gums (gingival recession) refers to a loss of gum tissue resulting in an exposure in the roots of the teeth. Gum recession is a common problem in adults over the age of 40, but may also occur starting from the teens.

Causes
Overaggressive brushing - often gum lines recede due to toothbrush abrasion. The enamel at the gum line is worn away by scrubbing the sides of the teeth in a washboard fashion.
Inadequate brushing or flossing - by allowing the bacteria to sit in between the teeth, bacteria can build up. The enzymes which the bacteria release can cause the bone to be eaten away from the teeth. This erosion is very harmful.
Periodontal disease
Dipping snuff - by "dipping" snuff in between your lip and teeth it affects the mucus membrane lining in your mouth and overtime will cause your gums to recede.
Inadequate placing of lip or tongue piercings.
