Swollen and painfull?!
Question: the lower left side of my gum as swollen and painfull. to the point where i can see my face swelling. i have an appointment in 3 days. should i wait or get an emergency appointment. i dont know if its an absess or just infection

Call an emergency dentist, if you call your dentist out of hours there should be a number on their answer phone. Or see you doctor for some antibiotics though doctors get really pissed off is you see them for dental pain, but if you have a nice doctor go! Abscess's are full of really nasty bugs and if it bursts could make you very sick.
absesses come from infections...I think.
if you're in pain call and see if they can see you sooner...I would.

sounds like abcess you need to call dentisti for dental appt soon he will work you in.you need on antibitotics asap.
Make an appointment for tomorrow if it is an abscess you will be in trouble if it bursts. Very sore hope you feel ok soon. x
