Sometimes the Hydrocodone the dentist gave to me does not work?
I am in pain and it seems like sometimes they are duds or placebos or something.I do not belive it is from taking to many because for one, I don't I hardly ever take it , and two sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.What could be a reason should I lay down before they work or what?

Sometimes they don't work because you've let the pain get out of control. For them to work their best you need to take them as directed. If it says 1-2 every 4-6 hours, then you should not wait more than 6 hours to take another dose. If you are in pain at 4 hours, then take it. When you don't, that pain can really grab hold and the pills won't work.
