That happens to me as well.

For me rising with Listerine every morning and ngiht helps the swelling stay down and it helps prevent the swelling too.

Hope it helps.

Sounds like gingivitis. Go to your dentist and see what he/she says. Make sure you're not brushing too rough either, use an extra soft bristled toothbrush. Floss before brushing twice a day.

sounds to me like you need to brush your gums better.. it'll probably hurt for a week or so, but in the long run it'll be good for them.. if you don't start you could end up with periodontal disease, which could lead to you losing some or all of your adult teeth.. make sure you brush and floss, and like the other person said, if need be, get an extra soft toothbrush!

Agree with the above. It's probably gingivitis caused by bad oral hygeine. A dentist will advise you more accurately, but basically: stop smoking, stop eating rubbish food (cutting down on carbs may be a good idea), stop drinking things loaded with sugar, make sure you're brushing/flossing etc correctly.

Rinsing with salt water will help in the short-term though.

Go to the dentist and have your teeth professionally cleaned. This will take away the swelling. Then keep them clean with floss, brushing and mouthrinse every day.

you may have gingivitis from not enough brushing and so on. You should visit a dentist. In the time being brush 2-3xdaily along with mouth wash2x and flossing.
