Does baking soda help whiten your teeth?!
Question: I would like my teeth a lot whiter and healthier since, I have a dentist appointment on Tuesday. Is it baking soda, or baking powder that makes your teeth white and good looking? Thanks for your time!

try peroxide. baking soda wears away the enamel(coating on teeth) on your teeth and they become sensitive. whitening strips are more worth it though.
try that mixed with tooth paste wightening gel and mouth wash it works good

Hello, baking soda by itself mixed with a little water to create a paste will have some whitening affect...limited of course. You can mix it with a little salt and that will improve the action but basically what your going to achieve is cleaner teeth with a lot less bacteria present. If your tooth color is deep seated you will need to be treated by a DDS. If the offensive color is shallow and an organic stain, drug store whitening products will help greatly...
