Does gum that claim to whiten teeth really work?!
Question: I wish it were that simple!
I really believe that saying a gum is a "whitening gum" is really a marketing gimmick.
best bet is to either:
1. have a dentist make trays that fit over your teteh and use the gel that they give you - you can get refill gel online or through your dentist if you want more. If price is a concern... call around. MANY offices offer this service for $99 or less.
2. Order professional strength "Opalescence Tres White" trays online. A google search will show these.
Some on this board recommend the crest whitestrips - many of my patients have been disappointed by these but have found the opalescence tres white to work better (and are more comfortable).
Good Luck!
